Tales From The Rainbow Bridge

*Caveat* This review is based on an author's review copy given to me.
Tales From the Rainbow Bridge by A. Abbie Aardmore and published by R.M. Meluch is a 140 page fantastical and emotional tale about the pets we love and where they go after death as told through  Zack, Rainbow Bridge's 'gate dog'.
I figured it might be a hard read because I had to put my furry babies down, but actually the first 4 or 5 pages were the hardest.  Through Zack we find the heartfelt stories of Lost Dog aka Doggie, Kermit, Cookie, Garth and the rest of Hank's huskies along with a host of other animals and they're heart handlers ( That's you and I).
The book shows the worst of humanity but more importantly the best of it and how we treat our little furry babies. Even though the book focuses on dogs but occasionally other pets are mentioned, I found the book inspiring, encouraging, and uplifting as I truly believe now that I will see my Blue and Midnight (they're cats).  I whole heatedly would recommend this book for any one who has lost a pet.

Everything's Zombies

Anyone who knows me can tell you I enjoy zombies.  I have several zombie games as well as some zombie print and play files I need to print out and assemble.  But I disgress, this blog isn't about games but about books.  Some time ago I picked up a book at auction titled Adventures of  Huckleberry Finn and Zombie Jim.  Well I'm finally starting to get around to reading it.  I'll post my review a bit later and talk about it.
